Part-Time Work Rules for International Students in Georgia

Moving to Georgia for higher studies is the step that everyone takes nowadays and if they can work while studying, that’s a very good opportunity to not be dependent on anyone. Most international students in Georgia can work part- time and this option is to earn extra money and gain experience.

What You Should Know

Students can work while they are studying, but the job should never affect their studies and grades. In Georgia, there is no work limit or anything like that, but you also can’t work full-time because you have to remember the main goal that you went there to study, and you should focus on that. Also always check the rules and university guidance

Popular Job Options

– search in the university like: library, Office help, student support

–  search for jobs in cafes, shops, and restaurants

– search for online work like tuition, writing editing

These jobs will help you earn money and manage your studies and for these jobs no need to learn the Georgian language

Tips for Students Who Want to Work

You should create a schedule so that the job doesn’t affect your studies or attendance.

Also, try to learn some basic Georgian language. It is a benefit that you can find a job more easily. You can also keep all work payment records just in case you need them later. Also remember part time job will not cover all the expenses

Final Thought

There is a chance that rules can change. You have to stay updated and also check the university and official sources.

In Simple Words

You can work in Georgia, but don’t forget the real goal: you go there to study and focus on that first. Working part time can help you earn money and learn new skills too.
