USEFUL APPS FOR STUDENTS IN GEORGIA

USEFUL APPS FOR STUDENTS IN GEORGIA

The first time I arrived in Georgia, I thought I was prepared for everything, but then the very first day at the university got me so lost. That’s when I realized how much the right apps make a difference. With time, I have come across a few of them that have made this student life here so easy.

Getting Around

My go-to app is absolutely Bolt; it’s a lifesaver when you’re running late for class or it suddenly starts raining. For food, Glovo and Wolt are my best friends, especially during exam weeks when cooking just feels impossible. I have genuinely lost count of how many late-night meals I have ordered with just a few taps.

Staying Organized

Between lectures, projects, and part-time work, things get overwhelming all too quickly. My Study-Life helps me keep track of class schedules and deadlines, while To do list keeps my daily tasks in check. And, of course, I have to just admit it: Grammarly has saved me from many small mistakes in essays and emails. It’s like having a little English teacher living on your phone!

Learning the Language

Not everyone speaks fluent English in Georgia, so learning a few Georgian phrases really helps. Duolingo and HelloTalk make it fun and easy — that’s actually how I learned to say madloba and gamarjoba. Locals truly appreciate it when you can speak their language, even just a little.

Everyday Essentials

For paying bills and other payments, I use the TBC Bank and Bank of Georgia apps. They make life so much easier-no long queues, no stress.

Having these apps on my phone has made settling into Georgia so much easier. They don’t just save time; they make you feel more confident, more at home in a new country.
